This simple site has been created to increase the awareness of the values needed to increase civic pride, improve the local environment and encourage residents to participate in community life in Red Deer, Alberta.

NEW video montage of the Great Neighbourhood events!

The Great Neighbourhoods Initiative is community-driven project based on a partnership between the newly formed Community Associations of Red Deer (CARD) and The City of Red Deer's Neighbourhood Facilities and Community Development (NFCD) area of the Recreation, Parks & Culture department. NFCD is providing a facilitation and coordination role for this project as CARD continues to refine its mandate and develop its capacity.

Depending on the outcomes of this project, Red Deer Connects may evolve to become a new gateway of information for Red Deer community associations and other community groups.
